One Village One Product (OVOP) Trade Fair

Held in October every year, OVOP Trade Fair of handicraft products attracts a lot of attention from a lot of enterprises and organizations.

In 2014, VIRI had held for 6 leader / vice of handicraft group in Tuong Duong district (3 groups) and Con Cuong district (2 groups) attended "Hanoi Gift Show 2014" in Hanoi. Apart from the number of products sold well at the fair, groups had also had two orders, including 10 rattan chairs of customers in Hanoi and 100 rattan chairs of customers from England. Through the fair, the representatives of the group not only sold more products, had more orders but also selling skills and introducing product were enhanced.

Customers and Market

Customers interested in the booth fair were various: foreigners, domestic customers (from Ho Chi Minh City, Lang Son, Nghe An provincial districts and many other customers ...) in which also had the wholesalers, the export handicrafts companies, the Vietnamese food restaurants... there were also handicraft researchers, artists and many others concerned. In general, for those who specialized in studying, they were very interested in the quality of the products, they prefered natural products non-painting and non-fixing, and also for the traders, they concerned about the price of products.

Some exporters interested in products: Ms. Doan Thi Lvy (Managing Director of Bambu DÉCOR Company); Mrs. Phan Thi Minh Nghia (Chief merchandiser of Aquarius TRADING VN) was very concerned about products of VIRI, currently she has entered the large number of Duc Phong products, now she would like groups to knit products according to forms to export …
